About The Event
The Rhode Island Game Design Expo is where creativity meets opportunity. From student competitions to indie showcases, the expo connects creators of all levels with mentors, industry professionals, and a community passionate about the future of games. In 2026 we've expanded our contestants to not just all of RI high schools, but MA, and CT as well!

Register to participate in the 2026 Rhode Island Game Design Expo Student Game Design Competition, taking place on November 17, 2026.
Open to students ages 13–18, the competition gives young creators the opportunity to develop and showcase their game, receive feedback, connect with mentors and industry professionals, and compete for prizes.
Students may register individually or as part of a team. Existing projects are welcome, and participants may continue developing their game…
